...Dickoh, hanlon, Rankin, McBride, Miller, Nish, Riordan, Duffy, Wotherspoon, Zemamma. Thanks for the ridicule we have to endure because of your apathetic incompetent input. Cheers guys!
Taken from over the road. And frankly it's hard to argue with!
Well well well...... looks like its time for the yearly lesson to be dished out to those of a green persuasion. The lesson which I am referring to if of course the one entitled "Situations where you should really know better than to pipe up".
Let the lesson begin.
In reference to Hearts exit from this years Scottish Cup, to a late goal, against a premier league side....... they chose to mock. They chose to note that, at least until Tuesday, and albeit at the same stage, they were still in the cup. They revelled in the fact that they had an extra cup game to play. They found it hilarious that we should fall at a hurdle as 'lowly' as that of St Johnstone.
Let us not that forget, that this 'lowly' St Johnstone side are in fact 2 places above the mighty Hibernian, 6 points better off. This 'lowly' team, which papped Hibs 2-0 earlier in the season, came to Tynecastle and grabbed a late winner against an off colour Hearts side. The shame of it.
So mock they did. Cos whilst we were forced to endure the 'shame' of such an upset, the mighty Hibernian hosted Ayr United at home and came out LUCKY to have scraped a replay. Ayr United, a team of part timers currently two divisions below the mighty Hibernian.
Still they mocked, for despite their failure to beat a team of part timers 14 places and two leagues below them in the Scottish footballing hierarchy, at least they were 'still in it'. Its easy to see that they had grounds to mock given such an achievement.
Despite being ridiculed by most of the country, and despite the fact that it would not have been labelled an upset had Ayr gotten the win they deserved on the home turf of an SPL side, still the Hibernians found the need to laugh poke fun at OUR failure.
As is the Hibernian way, not even they could see that they were setting themselves up for a fall.
So as the Hearts joined their Lochend counterparts on a Tuesday evening jaunt to Ayrshire, the scene was set, and the lesson began.
While the Hearts came from a goal down, in an SPL match, against their closest challengers in the league and indeed one of the form sides in the league, to emerge victorious and open up an 11 point gap (with a game in hand) in 3rd place.... (incidentally making the gap between the two Edinburgh sides a whopping TWENTY SIX points, ten more than Hibernian have accumulated all season) Hibernian again faced up to Ayr, with a home tie against St Mirren to look forward to should they dispose of the part time team from two divisions below them.
Hibs huffed and they puffed and they well.... ummm..... stood back and let a 35 year old striker dance his way through their 'defence' before picking his spot and paving a pathway in to the next round for the part timers, many of whom had prepared for the match putting in a shift at their day jobs.
Despite a few half chances and forcing a couple of decent saves from the student in goal, Hibernian were ultimately unable to overcome the mighty obstacle of a part time team with a far greater hunger than their 'professional' counterparts.........
So despite all the mocking, despite poking fun at the shameful performance of Hearts in the Scottish Cup, the end result is that despite getting two attempts at it, Hibs exit the competition at the same stage as us, to a part time team two divisons worse off.
You'd think they would really have learned to shut the hell up by now.......... but still, at least they have their league campaign to look forward to now huh, oh no, wait a minute.......
Hope the rest of you enjoy your 110 day as much as I will.

Yes we gloated - but that's because this year and Rangers v Celtic playing each other they had a chance to win it.
Add to the fact in the most recent derby they could only beat us 1v0 when we have our worst team for years.
Minor positives and I care more about what we are doing but they are far from perfect - 26 points ahead or not

The point is not 'their' opinion thats the issue! Its those who are culpable for the current state of affairs that I am directing this at!
If folk are ok with those we refer to as 'rivals' taking the piss - or 'don't care'. then fair enough. That in itself says it all!
