Merry Christmas all.

Not so average in the SPL.
We shouldn't have let go of him IMO.

great heart and attitude..and blistering pace...
but one dimensional and became far less effective when other teams sussed him...
we had the best o him and sold him at the right time for him and us...don't grudge him his pay day given where he had come from...
i preffer the memories and would not want a pale shadow return to taint that

Because all parties were happy - Hibs got a great ROI on their £5,000 and Ivan got a substantial pay-rise enabling him to start securing the financial future of himself and his family.
It's called cold reality.
If Hibs had been able to offer Ivan the same pay packet, I have no doubt he would have been tempted to stay on.

Aye but Tommy Craig kens a player at Newcastle that's just as quick and will accept 500 squids a week.
Remember when Tommy Craig went to St Mirren and didn't play with a right midfielder?
A total joke of a man. But I'd take Ivan back. he makes me warm
