Didn't expect that! Must be a season of goodwill thing.

That's twice in less than a year that he has been sent off and the ref has admitted he got it wrong within a week.
If Miller was still a Celtc player...

It's a shame they can't give us back the last 10 minutes of the game when we were wrongly and unfairly reduced to 10 men. There were three officials involved - how did they all manage to get it wrong???

So he's available to be totally anonymous at the big pink bus shelter?
Excellent news!
Joking aside though, nice to see justice done. They've only gone and done it! They've only gone and won the Scottish Cup! What kept you, Hibs?!

If only you'd listened to me earlier you would've know that Miller was sent off for VC, Hibs would appeal and that Thomson would rescind it after reviewing...where was the panic?!

The ref didn't mind admitting he was wrong since he'd already banked his winnings from the 'first red card' bet he'd placed in the syndicate.

Glad to hear this - Would have saved a lot of time and heartache to have got the decision right in the first place - Like ..... it was never a sending off decision

I can't give them any credit at all.
Rescinding that red card was the only sensible outcome that they could possibly have arrived at. Not even the SFA would have thrown out that appeal.
It was an absolute nonsense that the red card was issued in the first place.
These 'mistakes' seem to be happening all too often. That's twice in less than a year that Liam Miller has been wrongly sent off and had a successful appeal against a red card.
I don't think it will matter too much whether Miller plays in the derby or not but he should be available for selection (unless he gets sent off against Dundee Utd, of course).

reduced to a yellow? was he not already on a yellow, so that was a second yellow?
There is no such thing as too much yarn, just not enough time.

Does anyone else think the refs are at the wind up since their wee dispute a few weeks ago, looks like they're going out their way to make these decisions just to pee everyone off.

No turkey and all the trimmings for Liam now he is free to play on boxing day, he must be gutted.

it was a mistake - a pretty awful one - made by a fourth official obviously putting his ore in when the others were in a better view. At least a mistake has been admitted but it must have been easier for the ref to agree with Hibs when he can blame it ot on the fourth official.
