    Johnny Hamilton circa 1975.
Hammy left for Ibrox after being freed at the end of the 72/3 season. Issac Refvik [sp], played during the early-mid eighties, may have been on a trial.

What is the point of this thread other than too depress?

Why would anybody want to remember and list the players they ***** have taken of us over the years?

Don't want to hi-jack this thread but what about players who have done the reverse and left Ibrox for Easter Road.
I can think of Sammy Baird who became a Hibs captain and played in that historic victory over Barcelona.
Ally Scott & Graham Fyfe who arrived at ER together in '76 when Ian Munro went the other way
    and of course Ian Murray

Yeah years after he left Hibs after his brief spell in 1978, Rangers had him on trial at Ibrox & I'm sure he played pre-season, but never signed on. Anybody else with any more info?

There have been hardly any players in the opposite direction.

Actually the oft-maligned Graham Fyfe had a good scoring record for Rangers - 22 goals from 64 games. And he wasn't a main striker either.

Didn't do so well for us.
