Had a look at our fixtures up until New Year. They do look promising. Must admit I would be disappointed with less than 15 points. How do others fee?. (Sorry pretty poor at cutting and pasting can someone else list fixtures)

One swallow (or two!) doesn't make a summer but today's performance gave me a bit more hope that season might not be a total write off. Still a bit twitchy in second half today. Hopefully confidence will now grow and we will get a few more wins.

Considering the start to the season we've had, over the 7 games to NY I certainly wouldn't be "disapointed" with 14 points - 12 points would be a reasonably good return - anything more and we'll be doing pretty well IMO.

I thought Hibs were a bit lucky against Motherwell, a deflection gave us one of the goals. One week we're getting relagated and the next we're going to pick up loads of points against teams we usually struggle against.
Hopefully that'll happen but ICT, St Mirren and St Johnstone will all be tough - wilol be good to see how Calderwood and Hibs cope with these teams but I won't go points counting. If Hibs finish in the top 6 this season I'd be happy as really we were looking like relegation candidates with Hughes at the helm.

I'm hoping we win all of these games and are up to 3rd/4th by the time we play the Dross Trampolinos in Gorgoyle at New Year.

I think "getting carried away" is the relevant part. It's fantastic that we've won the last two games, both of which most would have expected us to lose, but there's a long way to go before we've turned any corners.
As has been said already, up until wednesday we were certs for relegation. What a difference a week makes.

If you look at the posts at the beginning of the season posters reckoned we had 3rd best squad in the league but tactics were wrong..........same squad, different tactics. Must look at 3 points next week and build from there. ICT home record is pathetic. A win there then a couple of winable home games. Confidence up like last season and who knows?
