    Huns attempt to intimidate Stokes

Celtic striker Anthony Stokes has insisted he won't be scared by bullies after a group of supporters targeted his home.

Police were called to the Irish footballer's Broxburn property after a group gathered outside after the Parkhead side's defeat by Rangers on Sunday.

Stokes said he would not tolerate harassment.

"I won't be intimidated by people coming up to my house. If people have a few drinks they tend to do stupid things. No player should have to expect it."

Hmm. Sign for Celtc and move from Edinburgh to Broxburn. He must have wanted very badly to fit in with Celtc FC, by deliberately becoming a victim.

Well, he would know. Broxburn was a hardly a sensible place for him to buy a house.

Especially when you consider his house is on the main street about 50 yards away from the local boozers, chippy etc.

Couldn't believe it when i heard he'd bought it.

Surely he must have expected something like this?

Nice to see that both sets of OF fans are continually confirming what total erseholes the "minority" of thier support is.

OF fans are undeniably Scotlands shame.

Although someone could have warned Stokes before he moved to Broxburn

    You're probably right.

It's an older style building thats been renovated and extended but still looks minging.

Thought it was a wind up when I heard he'd bought it. Still, he'll get a cracking view of the gala parade next year!

And I'm sure the flute band will enjoy playing as they walk past his front door.

"Stokes is believed to be renting the £400,000 five-bedroom property and living there on his own - but is now considering moving out."

Shirley the Direly Rancid can't have their facts wrong about a Celtc player? Does this mean Jack Regan is right all along?

  14. #13

Is it worth the extra dosh??????

Is it worth the hassle playing for the old-firm, and it does not end when their playing days are over. Some have even had bother after moving abroad, sair to bare.

And whats wrong wi Broxburn likes

Apart from obviously Stokes moving in
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

    NO.

Stokes was up in Falkirk for quite a while on his first spell with Hughes. He was with us a full year. So he really should have known better than to move to Broxburn.

But then, a house so conveniently situated to his need for booze and junk food....

    Probably couldn't resist it.

BTW.... Where's JR? I'd have thought he'd be on here by now doing a bit of Hun-denouncing.

Never knew he lived in Broxburn, go through there often, will look out for him, probably more at the pub than his house.

Maybe he and BITC are debating by private message and sparing the rest of us the usual pain

Do you want me to list the things wrong with the place alphabetically or just as they come to me? If I was homeless and the coonsil offered me a hoose in Broxburn I'd refuse and stay sleeping under a bush. Christ they have only just discovered electricity and indoor plumbing in Broxburn. And as for that joke o' a main street late on a Fri or Sat night - even the Gazza strip is quieter and safer - really is the original "MORONS R US" toon.

Is that some sort of stupid humour or is it just stupid.

And I'm betting you've never been there. Or certainly not in the last 20 years. Very rarely any bother on a Fri/Sat night. Turning into a bit of a commuter town with lots of new developments.

May I ask where you are from? I'm guessing somewhere with no school education
