    League Cup

Aberdeen v Falkirk and Motherwell v United.

Anyone think the Dons'll go out to a lower division side yet again?

Quite possible. I wouldn't take anything out of the fact that they beat us at the weekend.

As for the other match, I think Motherwell will beat Dundee Utd again.

So United knocked out the cup, poor form in the league. Who would they most like to meet next to kick start their season, I wonder

A mix-up between goalkeeper Yves Makalambay and his defence on the edge of the box almost let Wigan in but they managed to scramble the ball to safety.

Do the BBC highlights show the rather speculative 45 yard effort on goal that was heading wide, yet our former friend of 'extraordinary' talent still decided to deal with it in a reliably erratic manner?
