I defiantly prefer Murray as left back but I think we need a little something more in midfield and at the moment we dont seem to have that. Alternatively Murray at left back with Rankin at left midfield.BrownHart / Hogg / Hanlon / GroundsBambaDe Graff / Miller / MurrayNish / Riordan
Would not touch stephens, bench maybe, Bamba at the back is not filling me with confidence, but he did a reasonable role there under mixu despite the fact his passing is a bit...suspect?!

CC likes his defenders to be big, this I'm sure is why Lewis was moved into midfield,
I think his back four next week will be Hart, Bamba, Hanlon, Grounds/Murray.

We need to make ourselves harder to beat (if that is possible). I would play two sitting players who do not attack and just sit and protect the fragile defence.

Think nishy may be out for a while
Would rather have the young guy Stephens
Partnering hanlon, but that's for the future
Stevenson is the only lb we have ( another problem area)
It blends the team with experience, also bamba and Murray
May give this team a bit more backbone
Playing them just in front of the defence
Also would have the strikers from the u19s
on the bench,, must be better than yon trackys!!!!

7 defenders yes 7 defenders but for me that is it.
Hard to beat. Until we can get guys in who can defend then we must be tighter than tight.
Call me defensive but this is the team i would put out.

I'd also love to see Bamba in centre mid but it won't happen. He's refused in the past.

Bamba into defence as Goodwillie is fast but Bamba is more than capable of dealing with it. And Murray into midfield for his physical presence and drive, it also seperates Mcbride and Miller as they IMO get far too close to each other and i find it hard to tell them apart at times. It also gives Miller a chance to get forward.
If stacky is fit i'd have him in goals as the players seem to trust and respect him and on top of that he's a nutter.

Mark Brown is a good 'keeper but i'd play Stack ahead of him.''It's always been just part of the culture. Growing up, for most working-class kids, is all about football, music or clothes. You might not have much money, but whatever you have got, you're going to look good.'' - Paul Weller

I think Bamba needs to stay in at CH as he is best suited to dealing with Kyle in the derby. Don't recall Kyle getting much joy from him last season when at Killie
De Graaf back in as he seems to be our only midfielder who's first instinct is not to go backwards

Galbraith and De Graaf making it 4 3 3 when we attack but dropping in when we defend.

If Nish is unfit then Trakys.
If Spoony unfit then Miller to right midfield and De Graaf centre mid.
I like the look of David Stephens and think the manager should start to give him some sub appearances to build up his confidence. No point in chucking the young lad straight in.
