    Enjoyed the read but as I started following Hibs home and away from 1980 it makes me wonder why? and more importantly why 30 years later I'm still doing it. It must be addictive

    Thanks for the kind remarks folks. It was interesting to see that these things seem to go in cycles (appointing former players I mean) and I'm 100% certain the recent trend will end again ................. until the next time

    The bit i had erased from my mind was the Bertie Auld period. I genuinely had forgotten his time. It makes the Miller years a lot more acceptable and they were quite sexy years compared to that awful time under him. He should have been sacked just for that bloody hat.
