Sadly for Eddie, he is no longer a real Hibs supporter (like Pat Nevin). I'm afraid to say, that Mr May is now employed by Glasgow Rangers and therefore falls dramatically short of the "real Hibs" fan criteria as set out by the internet based Hibs community.

Thank f*** for that, don't want any huns in the job, no matter how flimsy the connection.

Surely it can't be as bad a name as, say, M'Bozza Ritchie?

No chance in my eyes but if he did he would have to do a hell of a job to impress.

I'm assuming the OP is having a laugh.

As it is, I heard from a few different sources that Yogi and Eddie May do not get on at all and that May would not even consider letting Darren Barr come to us because of this. Who knows but May have done us a favour in the end!

Explain what? Why don't you explain how a grown man manages to change what team he supports?

Pat Nevin grew up supporting Celtic but a long time back stated his uneasiness with the bigotry thing. He ended up in the East, went along to Easter Road out of interest at first and then ended up a supporter with his kids. Quite a credible transition, I'd say.

Well Fan of Tic, The good thing about this is that, at least nobody will be surprised from now on when we get referred to as "Baby Celtic"

Does he prefer the East Coast type of bigotry that is on view in all these managerial threads?

I would say that Celtic and their fans in general are on the receiving end of more vitriolic comments on this board than Rangers.

Splitting hairs over some posters comments that you interpret as being pro Celtic or pro Rangers is a waste of time in the grand scheme of things. I would say the vast majority of Hibs fans hold both halves of the Old Firm in equal contempt.
