    Riordan

Angry he missed the penalty or is he still the golden boy?

How about being angry with the man who missed an open goal

I take it you cheered when Deeks scored

    Maybe he did.

    Maybe he didn't.

Maybe the squad need to work on penalties until the problem's solved.

Oh, for the days of Joe Davis....

This thread shoudn't be discussing the missed the penalty but instead how much we'll miss him come the start of next season as Hughes continually pushes him out the door.

Starts up front today and scores. Nothing else need be said.

Hibs won't be offering Riordan a new contract while Hughes is manger.

Riordan may not be perfect and he did try to stick that in the top corner when Scuff would have done but he's the most talented player we have, miller may have talent but he is far too inconsistent... galbraith and Riordan are key this yr imo

Golden boy not to me as too much of a bam but easily one of Scotland most talented

Golden Boy? Whoever called him that or did you just make that up? Nice one

Im a bit peeved off when any Hibs player misses a penalty for our team. That IF you are a Hibs fan is surely obvious?...no?

More concerning is that Riordan has now missed his last THREE penalty's (I think) and with Stokes away we dont have another proven penalty taker. However.....We maybe get 5-6 penaltys per season so Im not chewing my fingernails over it. Deeks is our MAIN goalthreat and I forgive him for his penalty miss.....just so as you know.

One of our better players today, so if you're judging him by a penalty miss then you were clearly watching the game on teletext via Maroon specs.

    In my humble opinion.

Riordan played very very well today, worked hard and made his space... something which is gradually improving. However, has he now missed 3 penalties in a row? For me, he should never take one again.

Riordan was very good today imho. I would be sorry to see him go.

Apoplectic. I envisage relegation and an embarrassing cup exit to a third division part time outfit after today. Missing a penalty despite being one of our better performers and giving us the lead in the first place was just the final nail in the coffin of his Hibs career if you ask me.

    Deek out.

They've only gone and done it! They've only gone and won the Scottish Cup! What kept you, Hibs?!

Are we not missing the point, Deeks is a good goalscorer his all round game has improved but he is minging at penalties, surely theres another player who can take penalties?

    Joe Davis

    [QUOTE=Doddie;2574041]Maybe he did.

    Ah Doddie
Joe Davis there was Mr Dependable who took over
from the class act that was John Parke
On the Deeks penalty incident of course these things
happen but when you think how often he has hit
the back of the net from around 30 yards out
    Its a funny old game
