His wikipedia site says that he's still unattached.

Maybe we're waiting to move someone on before we bring anyone in under freedom of contract.

I heard similar, but I was told it was a striker on loan from a championship club. not claiming its an excellent source or anything, just a similar rumour.
I don't know however it the "window" rules would allow that?

    They wouldn't.

Would need to be a free agent for him to be able to sign for us now.

I was hoping we would sign Biscan.

Denneboom, has a reasonable CV.....if its him, gotta be better than Nish (who I think gets some unfait stick btw, but thats a whole other calendar thread!)

Wouldnt mind if we signed up Biscan and Denneboom.

We haven't signed one, it wasn't released today, and it wasn't denneboom. What bit did you get right? A completely different player not being signed at all but on trial.

    And from the Scotsman:

Hibs manager John Hughes is still in signing talks with Netherlands cap Romano Denneboom as he bids to replace Anthony Stokes. Lithuanian international striker Valdas Trakys has been handed a trial, but Hughes is still weighing up a move for Denneboom. "It's still ongoing and we were looking to see whether we could do something incentive-based," he said. "The only thing is his fitness. He's a big lump of a boy.

I hope not, sounds like a panic buy! If he was any good we would have tied him a while ago or another club would have stepped in and taken him!

Seems fair enough, obviously not fit enough to play right away but if they are talking about an incentivised deal then hopefully both parties would benefit.

Has a decent pedigree so worth the gamble to try and get him back to fitness. We need someone who can actually cause defenders a phyiscal problem now and again.

So, he's a big, physical, unfit striker who doesn't score many goals despite having played at a reasonably high level.

    The new Nade?
