Not the Lakers this year but the Kings can do well as number 8 seeds as New Jersey found out in 2012.

Just watched "Invincible" with Mark Wahlberg about the true story of Vince Papale. They probably still do tryouts at NFL teams and there are a few near you. Imagine being the first Hibby to win the Super Bowl.
The Jets do it every year, FP is 5 minute drive for me. My mates Sam and Charlie tried out as kickers the other year, did quite well but the amount out college kids who can kick 60yards plus now means no one is getting them off the streets.

Giants have released Victor Cruz. I know he has not had a great few years with injuries but I think he'd be worth a look for the Eagles, our receivers are pretty rubbish.

They've released Jennings as well. He's a decent running back someone will take him no problem.

I expect the Gnats to release a few others, rebuild the teams running and pass game until a decent QB is available in the draft to replace Eli with.

I don't understand why Eli gets such a bad rep - he's a very competent QB that's afflicted by a shockingly bad receiving corps around about him. Give him some weapons and he'd be excellent.

Hard to believe a 2x Superbowl winner still isn't considered an elite QB by some!
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

It's more that he isn't getting younger for me so look to build to the future when a franchise QB comes available, they'll play under a top QB until then. Younger, cheaper, hungrier players might work for them too.

Interceptions, I think. I haven't got the stats to hand but he has a tendency to force a pass when it's not really there iirc (although there's others on here who watch the giants with more attention than me I admit). He has got Beckham, as well, I wish the Seahawks had a player like that out wide.

If anyone is desperately missing football then why not watch the Nebraska Danger at the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles in the Indoor Football League... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fCSLk31S-o

Interestingly you can download an app and call plays in real time for the Salt Lake Screaming Eagles, I quite fancy a shot of that to be honest!

In other news, http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4231680/Johnny-Manziel-invited-join-football-Spring-League.html Johnny Football has been invited to join the Spring League. Hopefully those games will be available to watch somewhere, could be quite an interesting experiment. (sorry for the link to the daily mail...)

Fun article here, I remember most of these games. They neglected one of the worst live on Channel 4 in either 83 or '84. Seahawks at New England in Foxboro, in the days when the Patriots were rubbish and their QB was a baldy dude called Steve Grogan. The Seahawks went 23-0 up at halftime, Tony Eason came on for the Patriots second half, and Seattle ended up conceding 38 second half points to lose 38-23! (and these were the days before offense-friendly rule changes.)

How does that app work? Must be quite a few people giving it a go at once, mass confusion! Which will be funny to watch actually.

Victor Cruz visiting the panthers. Interesting, the could do with another quality wide out.

I reckon it must be a vote so the highest voted wins. There's a game on at 10pm on Sunday, quite tempted....

Very good signing for Carolina if they can afford him - I imagine he will want big $$

I'm struggling to follow the game at the same time as picking plays... My picks have gained 20yards so far

Orange plays are pass plays, blue are run plays.

Hes very worth it. some player.

Theres a lot of talent in free agency this year, You could build a championship team around the likes of Hightower, Kirk Cousins, Desean Jackson, Calais Campbell,Terrelle Pryor.

Still think Hightower will re-sign with the Champions but I think Bennett is a One and Done. Over 30 and apparently a very talented TE draft class this year. Still, he did his job, won his ring and everyone is happy.

I was offered LA Chargers season tickets by my LA Galaxy rep if I extend my contract by 2 years to 2019. I already signed till 2021 so I told her to hand them over. I have good seats in row F section 109 but no VIP hospitality. There may be a chance I can get a nudge into better seats due to my Staples season tickets with AEG, who own StubHub Center, but I am not certain. I took them because so many people asked me if I could get them and it will be nice to sell tickets at face value to friends plus see the odd game myself. There are only 8 home games a season.

In 2 years time they will move to Inglewood and the new stadium sharing with the Rams. Having good seasons now means first dibs for seats there. Who will get 2021 Los Angeles Super Bowl tickets though? Rams or Chargers season ticket holders?
