    Wouldn't surprise me.

He’s behaved like such a prick the last offseason, definitely spoiled his legacy if that’s him walking away so close to the season.

Think he’s on a mission to show the Packers that he’s the man in control, and because of the finances he has them over a barrel.

whether he stays or goes, he’s making his point to them

dont disagree with your assessment of his behaviour

Great game to open the season last night! Both teams looked very good offensively.

Gronkowski and Brady looks to be another potent partnership if the former can stay fit.
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

OK, it’s not too late for predictions.

AFC Champions: Buffalo, Cleveland, Tennessee, Kansas City
NFC Champions: Washington, Green Bay, Tampa, LA Rams
    MVP Patrick Mahomes
Rookie of the year: Yon 49ers QB who’s name escapes me. Trey Lance!
    First round pick 22/23: Houston

Super bowl Kansas City beat LA Rams.

Pretty much my thoughts except Dallas will win the NFC East, Justin Fields to win rookie of the year and the Rams to win the Super bowl.

My mate in Chicago is getting very excited about Fields. They’ve literally never had a decent QB in living memory.

Yeah he seems the real deal. Only a matter of time before he replaces Dalton.

He was terrible yesterday, admittedly with no protection.

its the protection thing that’s one of the 2 biggest issues, the O-line are a sieve. The other is the coach, who appears to be trying to force a style of play on the QB/offence that doesn’t utilise his strengths at all

They mentioned in the commentary that the coaches think he’s a bit slow to process things and that they were trying to play to his strengths, but he didn’t really get much of a chance to process anything at the weekend, he was either sacked or on his bike on almost every play. He’ll obviously have easier games, but it’s going to be a baptism of fire with that offence in front of him.

Not even $30 dollars, the NFLPA have a free scheme offering rides to players any time day or night to prevent these things happening. They'll even run your car home for you.

Inexcusable to drink and drive in any circumstance let alone do 156mph in your car in a residential area.

See I was discussing this yesterday and saying "surely if you are a pro sports teams you get a car service on the books so all your players are safe".

To find out the NFLPA has that in place and this asshole still got hammered and drove at 156mph and killing some young lady? Absolutely disgraceful. He's going to jail and he better be prepared to be there for a while.

There’s a level of entitlement and ‘the rules don’t apply to me’ across some elite sportsmen, it’s not restricted to the NFL, there was Jack Grealish pranging cars during lockdown, Kyle Walker caught twice travelling beyond the allowed distance during lockdown, some of the tax stuff in Spain, sexual assault and worse across multiple sports, etc.

You wonder how much of it is driven by (nearly) a lifetime of being told you’re amazing, you’re wonderful, and people cutting corners for you and making allowances and excuses for you.

I should be clear, the vast majority of professional athletes appear to be decent, upstanding people

This won’t be a popular view but I feel sorry for Ruggs. I have no idea what he was thinking but that one night changes his whole life. God knows I did some stupid things when I was young?(granted I never drove at 156mph when drunk), and often it’s just luck when you escape without some sort of disaster. He’ll probably be 50 when he gets out of prison with his life in tatters and he’ll be chewed up with regrets and guilt.

The great MLK said: ‘You have a moral obligation to object to unjust rules and rules that make no sense,’” Rogers said, misquoting Martin Luther King Jr.

He continued: “What about ‘My body, my choice?’ What about making the best decision for my circumstance? This idea that it’s the pandemic of the unvaccinated, it’s just a total lie.”

I think his previous actions tell me in the grand scheme of things he's a decent/good person but thoroughly misguided here. It doesn't help when you speak to Joe Rogan for health advice. The choice to use MLK though is a bad one

Was down in London a few weeks ago and done the stadium tour at Spurs. Was set up for the NFL, which was interesting to see.

Caveat: I have no interest or knowledge of NFL, but thought the photos might be of interest to those that follow it.

    Come on The Jets

Great player obviously, but there’s something of the David Brent about Rodgers That’s definitely something Brent would come out with. Russell Wilson not much better admittedly, with his current ‘Dangerruss’ chat.

It just feels like a total lottery, with key players on multiple teams getting covid all over the place. I wouldn’t be betting on anyone at this point.
