With all these injuries, it seems likely the teams that go deep in the playoffs will be the teams with deepest, quality rosters in the second string. Pittsburgh and Green Bay starting so hot has surprised me, I wasn’t expecting Big Ben or Rodgers to look so...young.

Phillip Rivers too. Very composed yesterday!
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

I actually like Rivers, he’s playing behind a decent line now, and I thought the Colts were a decent dark horse for a deep playoff run.

bears have been a real Jekyll and Hyde team this year, literally possession to possession can be so different

Switching quarterbacks seemed to have the desired affect last night, Foules is like the Ole Gunner Solsjkear of the NFL.

yeah, seems to flourish as a sub so much more than as a starter

Tomorrow’s game between New England and Kansas City rearranged for Monday or Tuesday possibly after Cam Newton tests positive for Coronavirus.

I won't believe that until I see it.

    Stidham will play.

Decent contest early on in Miami, Seahawks lead Dolphins 10-6, two defenses that cant stop anyone.

Absolutely infuriating end to the half from a Miami point of view. Well in the game then within 30 seconds of play we are 8 points behind and Seattle have the ball first in the 2nd half. The pass defence on both sides is almost laughably bad.

As an aside I completely forgot the Dolphins have the Texans 1st and 2nd round draft picks. They are currently on course to go 0-4!

Seattle have morphed into high octane modern offense with no D. I’m not complaining, it’s a lot of fun.

Win #4. Miami look better but still unlikely to challenge for a wild card imo.

    How about the Browns?!

My fantasy team might as well have declared a loss before any player took the field tonight. All of the changes in schedules + injuries.

    26.7 points at this stage...

Judging by the highlights the Pats blew several chances to take the lead end of 2nd and 3rd quarter, and mistakes by Hoyer and Stidham gave the scoreline a flattering look. Patriots D will get them a playoff spot unless injuries/Covid start to bite.

Oh no doubt about mistakes contributing to the win but I'll take it

Yeah they’re looking good on defense as well with Chris Jones back so you guys are an even scarier prospect now!

They definitely did, but the score didn’t flatter the Cheifs. The Patriots never looked like they’d win the game and their D kept it as close as it was. The Patriots play calling just didn’t work without Newton and Edelman had a shocker.

Foxborough shut down again after another positive test, Titans' facility shut down after staff member tests positive, Broncos vs Patriots game postponed due to positive cases...

The season is already flirting with being a complete farce.

I think a couple of postponements after 5 weeks of games isn’t too bad, considering what’s going on. I’ve enjoyed the season so far and certainly as a TV viewer the absence of fans isn’t bothering me as much as it does for fitba’, for some reason.

That looked like a good game, I didn’t see it I was watching the Scotland game. For the Raiders to restrict the Chiefs to 8 points in the second half is pretty decent and surprising.

Some horrendous calls throughout that Steelers Eagles game going both ways and again in Miami’s destruction of the 49ers just now. There’s a roughing the passer call just now that was barely a nudge. Officiating seems to be getting worse and worse, time to allow more contact again.

Horrible injury for Dak Prescott, real shame

So the Tua Tagovailoa era is set to begin in Miami. 20 years and 21 QBs down the line have we found the successor to Dan Marino?

I can't help but feel a bit sorry for Ryan Fitzpatrick, he always knew he was a gatekeeper but the way it has been handled doesn't seem great. He seems pretty hurt by that. He's been great for us, both as a player and as a person, and he's already said he's committed to helping Tua as much as possible going forward.

Fitz has been one of the stories of the season so far. It seems incredibly harsh on him to bench him now, playing the best football of his career at 37, despite that hipster beard dragging him down and affecting his aerodynamics...But also exciting to see Tua properly.

Im tempted to try and stay up for eagles giants tonight. A fascinating battle between two terrible teams who both have a decent chance of a playoff berth.

The Steelers at the Titans promises to be a cracker. Will Henry be as effective against the Steelers defense.
