I don't think even the Old Firm will have scored as many goals as we have at Fir Park in the last few seasons.

Never make predictions regarding results but I think there's scope for this to be another free scoring game. We look velnerable but we can get at Motherwell too.

    A low-scoring dull match.

Basically the complete opposite from the 6-6 game.

Does Fir Park pitch, now resemble, a pitch

I think we'll get a goal or two if the pitch is conducive to passing.

but we look like losing goals, so wouldn't be surprised with a 2-2 draw in this one.

i think we will get beat.

craig brown will know how to set up his team to beat us... as will any other decent manager in the SPL.

    2-0 to well

I have no doubt we will concede, but am also confident that we will score...

    1-1 for me.

    2-0 to well
So why did Hughes only lose once to them last year, 1-0 away having played with ten men, unjustly, for most of the match?

Two of our best performances last year came against them and in the other game we scored six away from home (albeit we also lost six!)

no need to think it will be any different.

    Hibs win 2-1 or 3-1.

How did only three teams finish above us last year if any SPL team can set up to win against us??

    It's called a 'learning curve'.

    I'll predict 2-2.

this is one year i'm not all that excited about the team (must be gettin old) nor the start of the season.
A draw would be fare result.

We're far too easy for other teams to score against, something that hasnt been resolved. Would like to see us going with the same team from Blackpool, its a winning team (even though it was a friendly), but imagine he will mess about with it which will no doubt cost us.

Reckon it will either be a loss or a draw for us.

First and foremost, I am looking for a cohesive performance that shows that we know what we are doing.

I'd take the first game against them last season 1-3 again. However Zemama played that game and scored the second and we got a break for the third. We were the better side then. With out Zemama we will have problem and I don't know whether Well have improved their side close season but the European results make them look better than us, but could be misleading. That could also go towards spurring us on.

I'm fairly sure that Hughes, as Hibs manager, hasn't beaten Brown, as Motherwell manager. Brown wasn't in charge for the two games we beat them.

Brown was in charge when they beat us and for the 6-6 game.

I'm with you, Chuckie, but I'm going for Hibs not to stop at six this time, and to keep that back door a little more firmly shut.

    1-8

Riordan 2, Stokes 2, Nish, De Graaf, Miller, Witherspoon

A club of our size should be going to Fir Park and expecting to win by a few goals, and entertain the fans in the process.

I'm not saying Hibs are Barcelona but by Christ we're not far off it.

This may sound arrogant but I don't care !!!

They said the same about Johnny Collins and we all know how that turned out eh.........

Think we are just getting into our stride and predict 3-1 hibs with deeks and stokes and a.n.other scoring.Bamba should be sharper and with stack in goals can see us winning.

Yogi to start with the same team that beat Blackpool, and we'll cruise to a comfortable 2-0 victory.
