    Our new pitch

    Does anyone know if it is one of know if the new pitch is one of the semi-synthetic ones used in the Premiership?

    replacing it was long overdue, tho reckon they figured they'd just do it when the east was started, which is fair enough. Hopefully will stand the test of time.

    Good advert for Summer football tho- the rate that the grass grew vs not growing at all (pretty much) in winter.

    The wire fibre is under the surface, the roots intertwine wi the wire fibre making the grass/playing surface stronger & less chance of divots/ruts appearing ..
