I read today that the bid is for £1.3 million.
Eagles has only got 1 year left on his contract, £3-4 million would be a lot considering this...

I'm sure Baw Heid Bain secured £5 million transfer funds a couple of months back, he also committed to retain funds from player sales for Smith's budget.
Mamies Boy sale to Boro will give them some room to manouvre.
Shame Mamies Boy's away, he was syphoning off some wages. This Eagles guy looks alright and doesn't carry a history of treatment table love.
Can't remember if they said that monies from Champs League would go to the transfer fund or if that was going to be hoovered up by the bank.

Gers were keen to add the former Manchester United winger to Walter Smith's squad following a host of departures from Ibrox this summer.
The clubs thrashed out a 'substantial' fee for the 24-year-old, but the talented playmaker was unable to agree personal terms.
He toured Ibrox and visited the Gers' Murray Park training ground on Wednesday and held discussions with Smith and chief executive Martin Bain.
"Chris Eagles has tonight (Thursday) decided that a move to Rangers is not in his best interests," read a statement on the club's official website.
Eagles will now join his Championship team-mates on their tour of Singapore next week

The days of Celtic and Rangers clicking their fingers and players signing on the dotted line are well and truly over.
