    Hughes aims to recruit more strikers

    We have Deeks, Stokesy, Nish so maybe one more could do but sounds as though he is after a couple? There are not many 'cheap' players out there that we could get that are any better, or has he got some up his sleeve already?

    We lack a burst of pace, and perhaps someone who likes to run with the ball, so there is no doubt there is space for someone with these qualities. Perhaps a big centre forward too, an athletic type to compete with big Nish, because every team, in the SPL especially, needs a player or two that offers that.

    neither rankin or nish have featured in anyones "next years team" picks however rest assured theyll have their part to play next season. im expecting more squad rotation than last season, now we have better players (on paper) than last season

    I would say we need to sign another centre half before any strikers, I know he may have big hopes for the young lad Stephens but he is only 18 and we need experience back there. After last year my number one priority would be to replace Chris Hogg as he was p##s poor as a captain and had some woeful performances.
