The one that got me earlier was Sue Barker at Wimbledon.

"With England out of the world cup, all hopes rest on Andy Murray"

I seem to recall him being Scotland's Andy Murray after being knocked out at RG.

To be fair, it's the last time they can justifiably dedicate lengthy segments of the programmes to England, so it's understandable.

After tonight though, any mentions shall be met with mild rage.

Yep, fair enough, only ten minutes at the outset.

Now we can get on with enjoying the fitba.

My main interest in this game will be how well Howard Webb does and whether he might get to the Final. He should, by rights, as he refs in the best league in the world.

"Brazil take the lead with a British goal." Thank goodness we're still having an influence in this year's WC!

Anyone know who took the corner for Brazil there? I came into the room just as the replays were being shown...

Fantasy points rest on the answer

    Brazil 2-0.

    NOT offside.

Tyldesley now puffing himself up about how good the English officials are.

Second goal was chiefly due to the brilliance of the English lino.

Assist for Kaka as well - lovely!

Edit: Maicon with the corner - more fantasy points!

You won't believe it but Alan Green is coming out with precisely this on 5 live...bumming up the officials and touting them for the final. They can't help themselves

Inch-perfect pass there from the ref to a Chilean forward.

These guys are awesome. Capello should have had them in the team.

I know the Hyundai adverts on the ITV have been running since the start of the competition, but I found the "England have beaten Germany" one which just played side-splittingly good!
