    Free-Kicks at World Cup

Is Honda's free-kick the first one scored and aimed at goal?

The only one i can think of is Nigeria's but it was meant to be a cross but just went past everyone and sneaked in. Peach of a goal by Honda, think he wrong-footed Sorenson.

2 great free-kicks by Japan, first one was Ronaldo-esc but Sorensen should have done better.

The Japs are the most refreshing thing so far about this tournament. Quick, disciplined, enthusiastic and they do the simple things without delay. They like to have a pot at goal and seem a lot more accurate with their shooting than most.

That Honda's good. He may be in the "showroom window". I wouldn't mind seeing him in the Prem.
