Looking at getting a flag made within the next month for the singing section. 1 that will cover the back of one of the sections mainly the middle of the 3 sections allocated.
i was thinking getting Hibernian Football Club (hibs badge) with a a moto underneath it something about making noise and bringing colour back or something.
Need help with the bit under it.. Any suggestions would be spot on.
Anyone want to be part owner and chip in, would be good if a couple folk would chip in for it. Due to beeing a student am pretty skint but i have 35 quid towards it so far . Not sure how much it would cost?
It would also be good for everyone in the home singing section to sit next to the same faces away from home so it will get taken to most away games aswell. WHich would improve atmosphere a bit imo.

i also like the fulham style one thats there aswell.
quick mock up not the best, and thats not going to be the moto i dont think... need some suggestions on that front?
Bring on next season...

You could take it, save the bother of getting a new one.

If you're gonna get it made then www.barmyflags.co.uk is probably the most popular.

As said on the bounce make sure you get permission and stuff before hand.
Do you have a rough idea on the budget, because if theres enough donations there could be enough spare for another flag. Something like

If you plan on including the Hibs badge on any flag, make sure you seek permission from the club before going ahead with it.
I seem to remember Hibs.net having a few difficulties at first regarding the inclusion of the badge on their flag a few years ago, before the club eventually agreed to it.

Should get a forum on the go, then a group and a group banner. Name doesn't have to be anything cheesy, a banner with simply 'HIBERNIAN' on it, something to give like-minded fans their own identity. I think the singing section will take care of itself, but the away games could do with some atmosphere and colour. Then after there is a hardcore group and folk get to know eachother could maybe get some displays done in the East etc like what groups at Rangers, Celtic and Aberdeen have done.
Here's a few quick banner designs i've knocked up.
Banner 1
Banner 2
There is a massive supporters scene in Poland and loads of flag suppliers have sprung up in Poland.
One of those are here, prices are at the top. Notice the Aberdeen flag, they've got 2 from that supplier, believe it was cheaper for them to get them made in Poland and have them sent over, good quality aswell. UltrasShop Poland.

im up for a group, but keep it dundee uniteds sas, not an ultras group.
ultras groups in Scotland are just embarrassing, alot of people will not let themselves be seen involved with them.

Does anyone know if the club would allow what man united have, where the fans are allowed to hang the flag up first game of the season and leave it till the last?

Welcome to the Leith San Siro - Since 1875
1. Contact the Capital Greens
2. Speak with Hibs to see if they can have gym type lockers below in the stand so flags can be stored

Would definitely recommend Barmy Flags. They did the two large ones in the picture below - £235 for 15 foot x 6 foot, absolutely fantastic quality.

i also might have to use the castle instead of the badge depending on what hibs say to it.
-
17-05-2010 08:52 PM #28
I think it looks better with the castle. However, personally, I reckon you're better off with a proper stitched flag than a screenprint one.

If you are insisting on a screenprinted one by the way, then this one was produced by The-Flag-Makers.com and are apparently pretty reasonable.
