I noticed this briefly on the highlights and wondered what the crosses were.
Have Celtc being comemorating this for years, or is this the same "memorial" that the club put into place only a year or 2 ago when the board cranked the "Professional Victim" mentality up a notch or 2??

They do love to support a good cause you know.
Of an afternoon, you'll hear their support of other things; everything from Northern Irish political parties to various other organisations etc.
Note: this is only done by their AWAY fans. They are apparently the baddies and all their home fans, the ones who DO turn up when they win **** all (about 20,000 from the 50,000) are no problem at all (Source: Mr J Regan)
Have no problem with the Irish Government doing something to remember the famine. BUT, what the **** has it got to do with fitba and the Celtc erses....?
