Went passed earlier and the perspex sides are about half way up both sides. Still a big whole at the north end of the east where it hasn't been cladded, no idea why they have stopped cladding the corner. Maybe need light inside with our puny 40 watt bulbs we nicked from tynie

Apparently it's cause they keep the diggers etc in the stand over night, so they've left a 'door' at the north end

I know the Company that rolled the sheets and there was a delay in delivery of the coils.

Barriers for exit steps in place....

Tannoy system outside ground in place, presume to tell fans any announcements req'd while queuing

Side panels at south end finally getting there, delayed because of winds.

    Front fence/barrier coming along nicely..

Yogi carries on like this the stand will look the same all season. Completelyempty

Added a few more pictures from today:

They've started to prepare the foundations for the astro turff going down and have started to lay the tarmac for the road at the back of the stand.

Rod and Scott Lindsay were doing the rounds with a contractor on some sort of site inspection.

Why tarmac? It's the reddish brick we have outside the other stands.

Bricks would cost more and take longer to lay, plus that is where the TV trucks will probably park up when games are televised

im still looking at the front row and thinking thats very low, and if u put the electronic advertising be quite hard to see over, esp for a kid. could this make way for people having to stand and therefore get the whole stand standing? (hope so)

My mate was down today to pick up our Maribor tickets and asked about our season tickets and was told it would another couple weeks before they are ready. He also asked about restrictive view seats and was told that the few seat effected the ST holders have been notified and moved. But she seemed pissed off as lots have been asking about this and the club did not know where the rumour started.

Nipped down today and took a few pics, on my iPhone can't be bothered to upload them now, but from what I saw the wind protection is almost completely done at the south stand end and halfway done at FF end also all the seats are in, looks like they are doing a spot of work on the stand even on Saturday. Once it's all finished it's gonna look incredible!

Just drove past the moribund slum that is Slimecastle, and was left feeling so superiour that this I had to get this thread back on the front page.

I think we should fill the East with 6,000 cardboard cut-outs of Rod Petrie, backed up with a huge sound system blasting out the Ashford and Simpson hit 'Solid As A Rock' on a loop for 90 mins, a reference to our finances. I don't know about the Maribor players, but that would certainly intimidate me over in the West.

I could have done all that tarmac in one afternoon and still had time to sell pegs from a bag outside the club shop.

Middlesbrough gave their fans a chance to pay for an inscribed paving brick outside there stadium, think hibs missed a trick here, I would have loved a brick outside the east with my name on it as im sure a few others would.
