Big game on TV on Wednesday........

........Cowdenbeath v Brechin. Play-off for promotion to Division 1.

What's your thoughts on this? Nice to see the wee wee teams on the box or a waste of our licence fee money?

I'll be rooting for Cowdenbeath myself, i've a pal who is a Cowden die-hard and i've a mate who's on their books.

The match is also a bit historic for them as it will be the first time they'll have participated in a live televised game.

Whats the difference between a pal and a mate?

It's not the match that is a waste of licence fee money (I think it's good that the small teams are getting some TV exposure), it's the channel.

I really don't see why the game has to be broadcast in a language that only 1% of the Scottish population can actually understand.

I think it's nice to see this given some coverage - massive game for both sides. I used to enjoy watching the 1st Div highlights when they were on the terestrial telly years ago and was often pleasantly surprised at the quality of the goals scored.
Some of the players stood out from the rest and many of that number ended up plying their trade in the SPL.

    Mon the Angus team!
Madness, as you know, is a lot like gravity. All it takes is a little push.

being my local team i go to some stirling games, went to cowdenbeath away a few weeks ago, 3-0 at half time, huge stirling support at least a 1000 didnt get on the teams back like we would if we were losing at a similar scoreline, instead got behind the team and with a 95th minute goal stirling made it 3-3, the place went crazy, similar to a derby goal i thought at the time!
