Sorry to see Ross Campbell has been freed by Dunfermline.
The lad was a prime example of a young player "showing great potential" at 16/17 and , for what ever reason , wasn't able to take/make the "big" step to being a "good" player.

Always thought he was a bit lightweight which probably didn't do him any favours. Good luck to him wherever he ends up.

Agree Sean - Ross was a promising boy who simply didn't develop physically enough for the SPL. A striker has to be one of three types
- Big and strong yet surefooted
- Mid-sized, strong and stocky, quick with a great shot
- Slight, lightning fast with amazing skills

I liked Ross as a player, a natural penalty box finisher IMO but sadly his physique has let him down. Just goes to show that the days of the 'tanner baw' players are long gone
