    Ross Campbell

Sorry to see Ross Campbell has been freed by Dunfermline.
The lad was a prime example of a young player "showing great potential" at 16/17 and , for what ever reason , wasn't able to take/make the "big" step to being a "good" player.
Pleasant guy to chat to .
Wish him well wherever he ends up

Always thought he was a bit lightweight which probably didn't do him any favours. Good luck to him wherever he ends up.

Agree Sean - Ross was a promising boy who simply didn't develop physically enough for the SPL. A striker has to be one of three types

    • Big and strong yet surefooted
    • Mid-sized, strong and stocky, quick with a great shot
    • Slight, lightning fast with amazing skills

Where does Colin Nish fit into that?

I liked Ross as a player, a natural penalty box finisher IMO but sadly his physique has let him down. Just goes to show that the days of the 'tanner baw' players are long gone
    This is how it feels
