The supporters trust comes out in favour of an expanded league with clubs playing each other twice a season and if Mcleish's report calls for the same then there is no way George Peat and his cronies can ignore this anymore. I can see problems as we have tv deals in place as the structure stands but if we were to put to the tv companies that they might get a better product for everybody if we were able to re negotiate the deals then surely they would not stand in the way of progress.

Does anyone know where I can read part 1 of the review? Or is it an internal document only?

There will be no change with George "Dinosaur" Peat in the chief knuckle dragger's chair.

Too many "It's always been done this way" people are in charge at all levels of football and not willing to change. Football, professional anyway, is no longer about the fans, it's about money. The clubs/TV firms etc know that we'll blindly follow our team even if it's a Monday night trip to Inverness or a Boxing day trip to Kilmarnock and the cash will come rolling in.
If fans want to have more say in the game then all SPL fans would have to get together and boycott every game making the clubs sit up and take notice but I've more chance of seeing Hibs win the cup than that happening.
So sit back and enjoy Hibs playing the same old teams 3 - 6 times a season and the Old Firm continue to dominate Scottish football for years to come.
