Whereas other teams leave attacking options until the opposition defence tires hibs are usually the opposite.
Zouma to play first half and go for the early attack to get a goal and if we get infront go to plan b and get rankin on for him to play the neil lennon role

I dont think Hogg should or will be dropped, plus he was outstanding last time at Tinkcastle, i like the sound of a solid 4-4-2 tho but i have my doubts Zouma will be displined enough to track back, Riordan should defo be up top with Stokes though.

I believe JJ's last derby was the 6-2 game?
I hope he hasn't slept well since
the 5-1 cup final thrashing probably made sure of that

Not that the usual suspects will let the thought cross their minds of course.

If only I had intended it.
When 1875er responded to my post with 'spot on', I felt fair chuffed and really believed that I had some tactical nous that was finally being noticed by fellow members.
Back to the drawing board. Can I take out Galbraith then?Last edited by judas; 19-03-2010 at 07:59 PM.

We must defend well as a minimum-there's always goals in our team!

What about this team then?
Smith
Thicot/McCormack Hogg Hanlon Murray
Bamba McBride
Wotherspoon/Zemmama Miller Riordan/Galbraith
Stokes
Subs: Stack, Thicot/McCormack, Stevenson, Cregg, Benji, Wotherspoon/Zemmama, Galbraith/Riordan
These guys should allow us to compete in the midfield area, defend solidly and yet give us firepower which can be increased as the game progresses assuming we can dominate in the defensive areas sufficiently well!
My starting preferences for the three "either/or" positions are shown in italics!

Smith in goals- Why?
McCormack at RB- Never a RB in a million years. Neither is Wotherspoon but at least he knows the position now having played their so often this season.
Thicot- barely kicked a ball all season, strange to bring in to a derby.
Zemmama- Probably not match fit, goes missing in too many big games.
