Ribeye is a nicer cut than fillet for me.
Mine would be a rare ribeye steak served with potato dauphinoise, assorted veg and a whisky/cream/pepper sauce.

Any full muscle meat cut that requires a rich sauce is not very good meat. The flavour should be in the meat.

Large chicken breast stuffed with haggis and a whisky sauce, green veg and a baked sweet potato.

Chicken wrapped in smoked bacon, with pasta and a tomato based sauce. My "signature" dish, and extremely tasty

Ribeye steak cooked just how I like it (no need for fancy sauce just Colmans English Mustard on the side), fried onions, mushy peas and chips.
Grilled Lamb chops as an alternative to the steak also.

Chorizo and wholemeal pasta for tea tonight with chopped tomatoes with added garlic for extra flavour.
Or roasted rainbow trout stuffed with garlic and herbs with lemon and butter freshly caught today by me at Rosslynlee fishery.Last edited by Hermit Crab; 16-03-2010 at 04:08 PM.

If I'm going out for tea, what I would have is Steak Tartare. Best I've ever had was in Schonefeld airport surprisingly! I also love Bratkartoffeln for a snack.
In the house, I could eat Pesto Pasta every night. I also love Gnocchi.

Boiled eggs on piece of toast and cooked chicken on the other.
I really do surpass myself sometimes!
At least it was edible tonight!
