Notts County next for the chop?

Sad if true. Not all that long ago they were gloating big time about how they were going to leave Forest trailing in their wake. Not a little unlike many fans of a certain other team in Edinburgh were suggesting they were going to do with Hibs!?

Good job Sven waived his £2.4 million pay off otherwise they would be looking at £10 million in debt.
Another club that tried to buy success but failed miserably.
I believe that their then chairman (or whatever his title was) said that it would take £25 million to get into the EPL. He was obviously living in cuckoo land if he thought that was a realistic figure. There are bigger and better clubs around with larger crowds that haven't achieved promotion and have spent that kind of cash.
Hope they don't even get promotion to division 1 although I wouldn't want to see them going out of business either.
