The figures they're talking about here I find quite staggering. Dafty Cole has already picked up a £200k fine (I assume that’s 2 week wages as it appears to be for a single offence) and now Chelsea are looking to more than double it!
I’m not saying either side are right or wrong and as players salaries became silly fines will too. Is this the start of clubs reining in their players?
£600,000 in fines for one player. Wow!

Ancelotti's a hard nose manager who likes dicilpline in his players, there has been too many stories in the papers recently and the name of Chelsea being sullied all too often.

i always thought fines were disproportionate to the wages.
fine should be appropriate to income thus making the club / player think twice about ones actions..

He makes 6m a year so 200k is chicken feed. Terry gave away 750k to silence his slut without batting an eyelid. Cole is lucky he's not been sacked like Mutu.
