Arguably the closest to going in since the infamous "squiggler" which he has attempted to replicate every game since.

I wish he wouldn't shoot. Give it to someone who at least has a chance of getting it on target.

I wish he'd just put his foot straight through it - he has the power, no doubt of that.
I think he costs himself a few goals trying this cutting accross it stuff every time.

His shooting is absymal. For a split second, though, I thought he was in there today.
As stated, he has the power. He should practice more.

Perhaps WGS was right.
However that just makes his goal against Celtc even sweeter

Look cant fault him for effort this season but still feel that Yogi needs to insert a clause into his contract that bars him from shooting or at least bans him from ever attempting a squiggler again.
Bored of watching him slice across the ball with the outside of his boot and the ball ending up in row Z. As enjoyable as it was, face it the keeper had a howler when the only other squiggler happened to bounce over him in to the net.

Rankin is the weak link in the whole SQAUD, never mind the 11 on the park.
His effort in the 1st half would have won the Rugby match for Scotland yesterday. He is pish, and should never play for Hibs again.
