It must be near to that time when the votes are counted for Player of the Year. Who will/should be nominated and do you think any of our lads will be up for it?
McBride and Miller have been excellent at what they do but on a national level, Stokes is the only one who is likely to be a contender IMO.
Given all the crap written about Davis recently, you'd have to think he'll have a chance, along with Boyd and possibly Bougherra?

It will be McGeady, Boyd or Davis. Probably Davis.
Hughes for manager of the Year however. And maybe Wotherspoon for Young player of the year.

Liam Miller has been just as good lately - nowhere near as much press though.Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Best Players in the SPL I have seen this season have been....
Gers, Bougherra, Davis, Boyd
Tic, Mcheaty and......they sold everyone else
Hibs, Miller, Stokes, McBride
Utd, Webster, Conway, Gomis
The rest?....Mcarthur(Accies), Mehmet(Buddies), O'Brien(Well), Forbes(Well).
Probs a few others but those guys have been really important to their teams this season.

Anyone else notice for FotY, in the last 23 years there has only been two players outside of the Ugly Twins to win the award and for Player's Player, not been a winner outside of the Ugly Twins to win the award in 19/20 years.
I do believe the phrase is:
"Get It Sorted Petrie"

Player of the Year - Robbie Keane
Young Player of the Year - Robbie Keane
Manager of the Year - Robbie Keane
It's the only sane choice

No Hibs players have won it so unless we win the league and the Scottish Cup you can stick your hoose on Bet365 that it will be one of the Old Firm.
Can't believe that Jim Duffy (Morton) won it in 1984/85.
