Worst tip of the year. Never trust a tip thats second favourite. I know its easy to say now but if you giving out tips make it a good bet and good value for money.

Ah well, worth a wee flutter. Even though it ran like a gerbil with an anvil on it's back.

That was a tenner of comedy I suppose.
Never bet on a tip on 365, there was a similar one on the PM board a bit ago, total flop as well.

Does anyone want to buy some magic beans ?
Seriously, is this tipping tactic not used to draw attention away from the real favourite and try and help it's odds increase?

I'm going Padova at 40-1 at the 3:10 @ Southwell.
With my current prediction hot-streak, you never know, this donkey could stroll it."Play for the name on the front of the jersey and the supporters will remember the name on the back"

On Radio 2 on the Stuart MaConie show, they tipped a horse at Wolverhampton for Tuesday night called Sir Nod, cos Noddy Holder was the guest on the programme. Came in at tens or better I believe. That is a proper tip. No that I backed it, like.

Having worked for one of the UK's most successful horse racing gamblers (made £16M from it alone) then I know a few things, and one of those things is to try and dupe bookies into shortening odds on one horse that has no hope of winning, which in turns lengthens the odds on another horse.
This person then throws a large sum of money onto the lengthened odds horse at the last second (at the price) getting the highest return if the horse wins.
So how do you get the odds shorten and lengthen? Answer: by getting unsuspecting punters to back a dud horse! It is very easy to do on Betfair...
I'm not acccusing anybody here, but it is a well known technique...

Got one of my tips up from my connection on Sunday afternoon, opened at 8/1, came into 4/1 - Strolled it...2 to 3 lenghts easily.

On paper BUT there is always something there that is trying!
If you don't get told you have to go with the ratings.

Sometimes you can get away with it by visting certain bookies, i.e. ones in China Town or Mayfair in London where they are used to big spenders.
One day I had to walk around central london with about £14k in tenners in my pockets - I can tell you that was not a good feeling, esepcially when the teller counted the whole lot out at the counter in front of all the dodgy punters!!
