Who's portrait is it that sits in the entrance of the West Stand? Discussed it coming out of the game yesterday, but none of us really sure.

Dosn't it have his name at the foot of the frame?
That portrait is a holy ikon for all true Hibees.

The Joe Baker potrait was commissioned by The Hibernian Historical Trust, Hibees Bounce and West Of Scotland Hibs supporters club. It was then gifted to the club on the 5th of April 2009, it was painted by Peter Lugton.
Peter Lugton and co have done a number of Hibs potraits.

Hey I was born about the time Baker hung up his boots.
I suppose not recognising Baker's portrait makes me a lesser uber fan. I need to work on getting to cup games for kick off, not leaving early when things are against us and recognising portraits of players from 40-50 years ago.

I put a wedge into that.
The bounce originally toyed with the idea of a statue outside the stand (however they cost a fortune, and will have to wait until I win the lotto before you can see full size statues of Hibernian legends).
Though Hibs net put a huge amount of cash into the youth development, I'd love one year for us to raise enough cash for a statue of the baker boy, or Gordon Smith for example........
