They should put him on £50 a week and 10 grand a goal. Maybe once he got hungry he'd bang them in but somehow I doubt it

Vlad's cunning plan has been sussed over there. Put Nade on a lengthy contract, pay him huge wage and then sell him in summer for a fortune.

Perhaps an extension was pre agreed in his contract that said if he played x games or stayed til the end they'd be obliged to give him a new contract on the same terms.
That's the only reason I can think of anyone giving him a million quid over two years.
