hmmm im unsure . while he always had the key attributes of a good dfefender, strong tall and pacy, it is fair that he always came across as clumsy and a bit over eager at times. My thoughts at the time were that a combination of Jones and him was not the best as both were too similar players. Perhaps he would be good with a more reflective, comfy on the ball player beside him, like someone in the Thicot mould.
