    Derek Riordan on BBC

Deeks sounds as if he is enjoying his football and slagging Stokesy.

Also, giving Rankin plaudits for his work rate...!

Everyone is great apart from Stokesy

He certainly had Chic confused for a split second

Chicks sly question about Deeks experience of going to the OF not putting any other Hibs players moving West was nothing short of disgraceful. Horrible little urchin

Deek and Stokes: I wouldn't swap that pair for any other forward partnership in Scotland.

I'd trade them in for the Proclaimers

I never thought I would read a comment like this on a Celtic messageboard - "I'd rather have Hibs strikers than ours and we are struggling for second place now."

CY is not little - must be around 5'10"/5'11". All other adjectives used to describe are spot on.

Loved it when Chic Young was interviewing Yogi and he said we were playing Chic's second team on saturday, pure class.

    Nor I.

League wise, Ant & Deek have scored more than each team from 5th place (Yams) down.

Cowan was not as prolific when Durie left, I think Riordan or Sokes will still score when the other is out of the team but Itake your point in that the partnership became almost telepathic.
Bottom line... we are getting a better pairing, who are now understanding that there is no I in team. This is a team to be reckoned with.

    Not quite right:

    • Motherwell 26
    • St. Johnstone 25
    • Riordan and Stokes 21
    • Hearts 20
    • St. Mirren 20
    • Aberdeen 17
    • Hamilton 16
    • Falkirk 16
    • Killie 12 (less than Stokes alone)

edit: counted a couple of cup goals in error, doesn't change the positions though.

Ah! I stand corrected in my laziness! Just looked at the yams and the sheep and assumed those below would have scored less.

Still, they're banging them in and long may it continue!
