Can anyone confirm what the goals / game ratio is for stokes in the SPL including both his games for us and his spell at Falkirk?
Obviously played less games but it can't be far away from boyd's ratio (I may be wrong).
Interesting to see his many he could rack up if we kept him for a few years.....

Using those figures, you would have 26 in 33. Which, if that's the case, that is f****ng prolific.Last edited by Pedantic_Hibee; 24-01-2010 at 12:18 PM.

Think it's 12 in 19 so combined with his Falkirk stats thats 26 in 35 matches.
Awesome.

Stokes-26 in 35 matches (A goal every 1.35 matches)
Boyd-160 in 284 matches (A goal every 1.78 matches)
Stokes has started every game for Hibs and Falkirk but Boyd has only started 213 matches for Rangers and Kilmarnock so if you take his goals per game ratio in terms of how many games he's started it's a goal every 1.33 matches.
Stokes is still up there with Boyd in terms of how prolific he is.

Well change your name then. Stop trawling the board looking for things to complain about. In terms of annoyance you're right up there.

If Boyd is worth £4m, Stokes is worth at least £6m. He is more profilic as a goalscorer and contributes much more to general build up play. Plus Stokes is only 21 whereas Boyd is 26.
