In conjunction with McEwan Fraser, hibs.net is offering you the chance to win…..
Full Corporate Hospitality For Four
As Guests Of Main Club Sponsors McEwan Fraser
For Hibernian v St Johnstone On Saturday 27th February
The venue will be confirmed nearer the time, but it will be either in the Gallery Restaurant or the 1875 Restaurant. All food and drink is included and you will watch the game from the executive seats in the upper west stand as McEwan Fraser’s special guests.
The total value of the prize is £600.
The competition is simple. Correctly guess the attendance for the home game on Wednesday 10th February against Aberdeen to win. The cost is £5 per entry and all proceeds from this competition will go to Youth Development at Hibernian.
The more entries you have the more chance you have to win and the more goes to Youth Development!
Payment can be made in the following ways……..
PayPal – Payment should be sent to bank@hibs.net. You MUST let us know your user name when paying. If we can’t tie it up we will have no option but to return the payment and your guess will not stand.
Cheque/Cash/Postal Order – Payment can be made by post, or in person to any of the site admins. If you would like to pay by post please PM me for details. Again, you MUST let us know your user name so that we can mark you as paid.
All payments must be received before 5pm on Wednesday 10th February. The competition will be closed at that point. The official attendance will be confirmed by Hibernian FC and that will be the number we go with.
If no one guesses the correct attendance the prize will go to the person who is nearest. If two people are the same number out, either side of the official attendance, the winner will be the person who guesses the LOWER amount.
We’re very grateful to McEwan Fraser for donating this prize. We’re using it as a major fundraiser for Youth Development so don’t be shy! This isn’t just open to hibs.net registered users. Family, friends, work colleagues, etc are all welcome to enter as well.
Just as we have done in previous years, hibs.net will be making a cheque presentation to Youth Development in March. We’ve spent over £10,000 at the club in various ways in the last two years. You can help us keep that source of funding going. This is our last major fundraiser before the cheque presentation so the more entries the better!
All guesses will be noted on this thread. Those in green are paid; those in maroon are in debt! All those unpaid when the competition closes will be removed.
You can make your guess by either posting it up on this thread or by PM to any of the admins. Once your guess had been submitted it's final. You can however pay now and guess later if you want.
To help you along, the attendances for last season’s home games against Aberdeen were……
Saturday 15th November 2008 – 11,640
Saturday 21st March 2009 – 11,754
The attendance at the game earlier this season was 13,885.
To give you a better idea of what the winner will get, the itinerary for the previous winner was as follows.......

12.15pm Taxi to Easter Road
12.30pm Tour of the stadium

Having won the last comp(through skill rather than luck of course), I would stress that for although nobody likes the thought of losing a fiver, the money is anything but lost as it is going to a very good cause.
If you are lucky enough to win, I can assure you it will be one of the best fivers you've ever spent.
Some other things Mikey didn't mention that we also managed:
- Value for money with the stadium tour as the players are all there getting built up for the game.
- Chance to take your own pics in the Man of The Match area (we were lucky to have a bottle of bubbly lying handy as BBC ALBA were in action that day)
- Chance to get your photo in the dressing rooms with all the strips up, Wee Toaods in between Zemamma and Benji is a fav.
- Chance of a pic with the Man of the Match in hospitality.
Although I prefer to sit in the comforts of my own seat during the 90 minutes, it really is a cracking day (especially if you Deek for first goal comes up too), we even managed a couple of extra beers outside the stadium with Messrs Fraser & McEwan...

I'll be having a go at this - but nearer the time
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, vodka in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO what a ride!"
