Here’s our bit of the tables since the SPL came about with where we are just now and IF we were able to keep this going till the end of the season what points and stuff we’d have.

Code:

current 18 9 6 3 26 15 11 33

Looks similar to the 2000/01 season when we finished 3rd.

We need to up the scoring rate. Better than the last couple of seasons but IMO not as good as it should be.

The defence is better than its ever been! That back 4 that nobody fancied at the start of the season with these 3 dodgy keepers are on track to be the meanest in our SPL history.

Its seems to me that while folk drool over our misfiring hit squad the real heroes are the ones keeping the ball out the back of the net.

So may I invite all those who constantly slate our back division for their cock-ups the fact is they are not costing us.

Lets appreciate the actual job they are doing and lets get right behind the whole team for what could turn out to be our best season in recent times.

Finally a huge Yogi grin for Yogi and the coaching team for achieving this in an upwardly transitional season and the rest of the back room staff at Hibs for making it happen.
