That season must have been 2 points for a win. When did the 3 points for a win start

wonder how many, if any, league titles/relegation battles would have gone a different way were it not for the rule change.
can't be bothered working it out myself - anyone know off the top of their head?

I do know that post war only Hibs & Hearts lost the league on goal average, both would have won on goal difference. Ironically, when Yams lost league in 1986, see separate thread, they would have won on goal average!! Shame!!
