Much as I am annoyed at Katie's recent viewpoint, I still see D Utd. as our main rivals and any points they get from the Old Firm weaken our chances of third place. My head rules my heart and I was even hoping for a Jambo win as well at the weekend so that Utd. would have dropped 6 points in three days.

draw!
We're chasing 2nd as an aspiration but we also need 3rd as a minimum for the start we've had!
We need Rangers and Dundee Utd to drop points over the course of the season if we want to get either of these. A win either way doesn't really help us.
Who knows if we turn a few more of our away draws into wins we might even be chasing Celtic

Worst result for Hibs is a Dundee United win. We will be fighting for third with them.

United to win hands down, would even be delighted with double figures.
Why anyone would want that shower to win ever is beyond me.

Selfish part inside me says Rangers win - so keeps us 3rd.
But I hate the old firm and feel if Scottish football is ever going to change we need more than one team challenging them.
So I voted for Utd win - would be amazing come the end of the season if there were actually 4 teams all close to each other with something to play for, rather than the ugly sisters.

Voted “draw” but I was torn between that and “don’t care”. Whatever the result is it’ll suit us – Draw and noone moves position, Rangers win keeps United off our backs, United win means Rangers don’t pull away from us.

Rangers win. From a Hibs point of view, I really cant see any team breaking the top 2 this year, and thus keeping it tight at the top leaves us with more chance of missing out on 3rd.
United win, they go 3rd. The pressure is on them at the moment to keep up with us, would rather it was the other way around. If United lose, thats 2 points behind, and with quite a few suspensions for them coming up, gives us a chance to possibly increase the gap.
Dont understand why people would put the hatred of another club before their own, whatevers best for Hibs, and imo thats a Rangers win.

Realistically our challenge this season is for 3rd so United dropping home points even against the OF is a good thing.
If we have ambitions to be higher than 3rd then we need to be scoring more goals home and away, with the strikeforce we have our goals return is not good. One goal away from home may get you a point but will rarely get you three that is where we need to improve.
My vote was for a draw by the way.

Got to be a Rangers win as United must be our main rivals for third. Although I can see United losing a few players in January.
Can see the referee playing a big part tonight as Rangers were winning at half time in the original fixture.

Normally like to see the OF getting beat, but on this occasion a draw is the best result for Hibs

United win - hopefully some intrepid reporter would stick a microphone in the general direction of K. Thomson after full time.

Here's Uncle Watty playing games again, tipping Levein for the Scotland job ahead of tonight's fixture:
