I noticed the current spl table has a definite split regarding losses.
Pos-Team----Defeats
-------------------
1 Celtic..............2
2 Rangers...........1
3 Hibernian.........2
4 Dundee Utd......1
5 Motherwell.......1
6 Aberdeen.........3
7 Hearts.............6
8 St Johnstone....6
9 St Mirren.........6
10 Hamilton........7
11 Kilmarnock......8
12 Falkirk...........7
-------------------
Is the spl boring, competitive, or avoid defeat at all cost?

i.e. there is a definite gulf in class between the top 6 and bottom 6.

I think the gap represents how tightly matched the top clubs are, hence how many draws are happening.

Or to put it another way, there is the same points gap between 6th and 7th as there is between 7th and 12th...

I think it shows the SPL has settled into the Top 6/Bottom 6 as it will end come May already. Now all that needs sorted is who will finish where in each half.
