    Frank Lampard

Am no sure if this has been posted already. I apoligise if it has. But this is ridiculous.

I used to go to games at Sunday League level with about 15 of us stuck in the back of a transit getting chucked about. The modern day football player has alot to answer for.

Actually, it's totally ridiculous that the FA, swimming with money, DOESN'T charter a plan with appropriate seating for multi-million pound footballers. It's their livelihoods the FA is ersing about with. And if it's anything like the SFA, you can guarantee the fat cats in suits would have been in business class seating.

'The superstar players are used to having flat beds for long journeys and were shocked to find seats that barely reclined. Several players complained of cramp and muscle pain after the flight.'

To be fair I don't think Chelsea are looking for compensation.

It does, however, raise a question. What is the point of these friendly games?

Money, I guess. Especially where England are concerned.

Someone on the radio suggested that it might be a vote chasing exercise (world cup application).

Think he was more focused on The One Show.

    I totally agree with him....

They should also make the pitch out of pillows for his next game.

What about wayne rooney - he must have been stuck i his seat for the whole flight and yet went out and played the full game as the captain

Seems to be a lot of anti Lamps stuff on here.

He is a strong, fast-running midfielder who scores more goals for his team than he is expected to.

He is the best footballer in the country.

I'd hate to be stuck on a plane with those two with their whining voices
    This is how it feels

I'm going to Brussels in a couple of weeks with Ryan Air

Do they have flat beds or will I have to endure the agony of being cramped up

Ha Ha nice. He does tend to look as though he's visited Greggs a deal too often right enough.

On Ryanair, a "flat bed" is the cabin floor.
