    How would we behave?

Loving all this kick the Hun while they're down stuff. Loving it. But thinking about the possibilities of them imploding/moving to another league, wouldn't we just step up and take their place?

Maybe we'd behave more like gentlemen than they have (not hard) but wouldn't we use our growing financial dominance from playing regularly in Europe to steal smaller teams' best players?

Have we already started? What's the difference between the Old Firm stealing half our team - and us ripping the heart out of Falkirk's? Granted we haven't done it systematically over the years like they have. But we would have if we could...

    Or would we?

This has been asked many times before.

The difference is the fact that when we buy players from lower opposition, we intend to actually use them.

Sometimes it doesn't work out for them at Hibs... So we happily let them go. So they are free to either go back to their old club, or somewhere else.

The OF on the other hand, have the habit of buying players from smaller opposition, and leaving them to rot for years on end. Potentially ruining their careers.

    Good answer! Thanks.

Looking forward to Rangers in receivership now with a clear conscience.

    That as well...

They sign our players when they are good. Then shelf them off down to England for a decent profit without them even playing a game for the manks.

Well they may play 1 or 2 games. But what difference does it make?

To be fair... They have been ok when it has come to Hibs players (Bar Deek) (excuse the pun).

But when it has come to other teams in the league that they have snipped players off of, they have just been left to rot away in the reserves.
