    That's awful. I was in contact with Ivan around the time his first son was born and it was very obvious how delighted and proud he was to be a father. As a father myself I don't know how I'd cope with such a blow. My thoughts are with him and his wife.

    This is so sad and not the news that we want to hear at anytime. Having been blessed with two wonderful Sons in my life I don't know (or want to) how painful this must be.

    I always look for Ivan's name in the match report and was surprised to see he wasn't in the squad on Saturday. It is tragic that when I should be learning he and his wife had added to the family that they have to endure this tragedy.
