Nae offence mate, but ***** poll.
There is a seven page thread about this, and your poll merely suggests thats you cant be bothered to gauge opinions by reading it.
This is not a H**rts thing. Its happening all over Britain.
If the yams want to home in on 7 deaths out of around 15,000,000 then so be it.

Honestly struggling to see the fuss. It's a minutes silence, 60 seconds. I'm sure it's not too much to ask.

Could you possibly make this a public poll?
I'd be VERY interested to see who voted 'won't respect it'.

It DID cross my mind.
Just kidding. I get the idea that you have your own political views but can't for a minute believe you'd do something so stupid. I actually suspect it's one of our 'guests' on here, a non-Hibs fan just sh*t stirring.
I'm quite open and up front on the fact that I think there are more appropriate times to have a minutes silence but that, if people want to have one at the football, then it's no big deal to respect their feelings.
My personal feelings are that the two sides in most wars are not the obvious combatants but the ones at the top that think it's OK to sacrifice other peoples lives for the sake of their disagreements and the poor sods who they willingly sacrifice.

If they don't agree with the sentiments behind the silence, or whatever, but are willing to stand outside and not make a noise whilst it's in progress, I think they're making an admirable step to NOT disrupt the silence. Although I may not agree with all of their opinions, I for one would admire the dignity and consideration for other people's feelings on the matter that they show in taking that course of action.
