The East was full, most of the FF and about half the south. Don't know how many were in the West but I'd hope for 13,500 +

I thought the atmosphere was really crap until the first sending off.

That means that the Aberdeen end was about 100 -150 short of a sell out. Means we lost out on about £2-3k in rev from those that gave up, assuming that they would have filled the lower tier. Probably not the end of the world, in that case.

Not sure I understand you Cockney Mike.

We can't grumble with what Aberdeen brought but they had half the upper tier and half the lower.

Plenty of room for Hibs fans or Aberdeen fans in the south.

No my point was that there was an aberdeen fan calling into the jim traynor show saying that loads of sheep gave up trying to get into the game, about 330 as it was taking them so long to get in, and they didn't want to pay full fare for half the game.

My point is that considering the fact that so many did get in, it doesn't seem like we've missed out on too much money; and that being the case it's probably they're own fault that they should have got there earlier.

Aberdeen fan on BBC Scotland said a lot of them were still outside at 3:30 and just gave up trying to get in. It was cash at the gate instead of tickets and he said 100's couldn't get in.

It also shows (again, as many people overly preach this Hearts-like travelling support on here) that they don't half exaggerate their away attendances. Said guy on radio believes Aberdeen 'ALWAYS take 3,000' to Easter Road. Do they bol.....

    No worries Scoopyboy!

Aye - Richey, I thought that as well, 3000, maybe once in the last 20 years. Since we built the stand they'e never had that; and that's at least 10.
